Things you CANNOT Forget
- Passport
- ISIC card
- Ticket
- Money
- Credit card (if you carry one)
- Cell phone (IES Argentina phone)
- Wrist watch
- Prescription medical supplies
Security pouch/belt to carry documentsSmallish bag that can be fastened securely to carry all this stuff, plus a notebook, pen, camera, water bottle etc., for daily excursions

- Sunglasses
- Toothbrush and tooth paste (sample size only in the in-flight bag)
- Hair care products (IN YOUR CHECK-IN BAG)
- Soap, deodorant, moisturizer, etc (IN YOUR CHECK-IN BAG)
- Sun block (IN YOUR CHECK-IN BAG)
- Bathing suit
First Aid supplies
Sandra will have a first aid kit, and you can also buy most things you will need in Argentina
- Your favorite pain killer
- Any OTC allergy or other medications you prefer
- Band aids in case you get blisters from walking (because you didn't listen to us about the shoes)
- Pepto Bismol can make the day feel better . . .
- Small pack of tissues
Electronics
- Plug that works for South America (internatinal plugs are available at K Mart, Target, and other discount stores in addition to fancy camping stores. They are also available at the airport for a bit more money)
- Personal cell phone if you are taking one (and the recharger!)
- iPod or other music delivery system (and the recharger!)
- Camera (and battery recharger if it has one), film, disc, etc
Smart stuff
- Nalgene or other tough water bottle (pack this, no fluids allowed on the plane)
- Pocket calculator so you know how much you're spending . . .
- Film for your camera if it is not digital (you can buy film in Argentina of course)
- Large notebook for in-country writing assignments and work on your paper
- Small notebook to carry woth you
- Diary or day book (even if you don't normally keep one)
- Pens, pencils,
- Sketch book and pencils/pastels if you are artistically inclined (this is a really nice thing to have--even if you didn't pass art class)
